I had a thought on how to organize cables nicely in the back or your rack without having to tie cables together which usually leads to added noise. I have been having this problem with my IC's getting too close to my power cords and picking up hum. It has been driving me nuts trying to keep them all spaced apart without making a huge mess of cords.
Then it hit me. Why not use a cargo net on the back of your rack? something like this:

Then you can weave your cables through the different grids and keeping the right amount of spacing between cords while still organizing the rats nest.
I am thinking of adding a cargo net to the back of my audio cabinet. Now just to find the right size and appropriate grid size net. I think I want to stick with the stretchy kind so you can easily put your hand through the net to reach the back of the gear when needed.
Thought you guys might find this useful.
