F/S Class D SOLD
« on: 1 Nov 2014, 06:51 pm »
I am selling my Class D Audio amp. The amp has 2 of the 500w x 1 (8 ohms) modules as shown in the CDA-1000 kits Class D Audio has now. I purchased it in 2010 and have been running the amp in 500w x 2 configuration in my dedicated theater room.

I used 3/4" solid walnut for the front and sides and 3/8" plywood for the bottom and rear. The top is a plexi-glass top with vent holes for cool running. I also have vent holes in the bottoms for good flow. I have gold-plated RCA and XLR inputs for convenience. The speaker posts are 5-way gold-plated and the power connection is the all-in-one IEC with on/off switch rated at 15A.

It sound great and replaced Bel Canto ICE amps 4 years ago. I enjoyed the power and clarity with it. It has worked flawless and is in excellent condition. I have all paperwork from Class D when I purchased it that I will include.

I have now gone in a different direction with amps and need to sell this to the next lucky owner, will separate.
$250

  • To whom more was given more will be required.

Keep in mind EACH amp is set up as 500w x 2 right now, EACH can be changed to a 4-channel amp at 125w x 4 with some extra DIY.

I keep getting emails thinking they are just 125w x 2

Seems like a great deal for those with 8 ohm speakers!

Keep in mind the price for the new amp kits at Class D Audio are the main parts only, I have almost $100 more in wiring, connectors, and the amp chassis.
