Curious why the Aurora does not use Raal Tweeters when the rest of the Vapor line favors the Raal and rave about it.
Hope this question is OK.
And wonder how does the Aurora tweeter compare to the Raal.
Thanks!

srb covered the reason Aurora doesn't use a RAAL. It's the same reason Arcus doesn't either. Big woofers require a low crossover point to properly integrate to a wide dispersion tweeter. There's simply no way to get a RAAL to play down around 1000Hz.
How the sound compares between the Aurora and the RAAL speakers. The high frequency reproduction from the RAAL is the most natural sounding of any tweeter I've ever heard. Delicate, yet aggressive when called upon, the RAAL is simply the best there is. But it has its limitations. The ceramic T-Labs tweeter brings transparency up quite a bit when compared to similarly sized fabric domes. It too can sound delicate but it can also bite down hard and deliver the grit when necessary. The reason we use it at all is because it is a lot of fun to listen to music through, plain and simple. It doesn't deliver the ultimate in transparency and detail that the RAAL does, but it certainly delivers incredible midrange detail that most larger mids just can't do above 800Hz. And when compared to other dome tweeters, the T-Labs is a cut above in terms of sonic truth.
