TechDAS Air Force One Turntable

Some believe this is the King of Kings.  To be sure, there are a lot of reviews and info on this turntable.  The more the better if you are going to buy this bad boy.  I do not like the looks, but you cannot go wrong buying this one.  In the last five years it is said that the rich are getting richer.  This belongs in their house.  Every rich house needs a trophy.  Why not a turntable?

xsb7244,

thanks, I'm a member of that forum - there are other discussions.  I have had mine going on a year now and enjoying.

To bad they were a no show again at the RMAF 2014, was hoping to have seen and possibly heard the AF2 - little brother

Same here. From my email exchanges with someone that has heard both at Stella the AF2 is supposed to be primarily cutting cost in manufacturing without sacrificing much sound quality (and it's much larger than the AF1). Air bearing, vacuum platter carry over from the AF1. The AF2 has a lighter platter and slightly different suspension in the feet.

Air Force Zero is one I am very much looking forward to seeing; supposedly Nishikawa-san's all out approach to a turntable, size/weight not being an issue.

DEV,

What dream cartridge are you using?  Of the hundreds of cartridges available to choose from why that cartridge?

This is an old video from when I was still using a TechDAS TD COi cart and first generation Phantom 2. On my Elite arm wands are Gold Finger Supreme, Lyra Atlas and TechDAS TD Ti.

Everything I know is posted on WBF, I did not ask the dealer about the AF0.

Also, what's up Jack, good to see you on AC as well  :banana piano:

Nice to see you too J  :thumb:

The Air Force Zero was mentioned by Nishikawa-san in an interview by Alan in HiFi+  It is still in the very early planning sages.
