I have for sale Bill Baker's, of Purity Audio/Response Audio, Personal Modded Jolida 801a Amp. The amp is loaded with V-Caps and Bybee filters all the way through--along with all of Bill's other mods. Of all the amps I've owned this is by far my favorite. Has a couple light surface marks on the transformers. The amp has a Quad of Gold Lions, and a variety of NOS preamp tubes I'll include in the purchase price.
Why am I selling it? I never thought I'd ever part with this amp, but all it does is power movie soundtracks. Plus, I hate having exposed tubes with kids. I have 3 kids and a house I'm working on so critical 2 channel listening has gone by the wayside. All we do is watch movies and play video games. Along with "non-critical" music listening. I will be selling off the rest of my 2 channel system so take a look at my other listings. It is an amazing amp and belongs in a system someone will actually appreciate it in.
Looking for $1500. I will consider trades for the following: Multi-channel power amp, multiple monoblock amps, a quality home theater preamp. Looking for at least 7 channels of amplification.
