This is a very nice pair of Von Schweikert VR 3 speakers, 3 front drivers in separate enclosures covered by a black cloth sock. The value is in the cabinet integrity and drivers, not cosmetics. 10" woofers for deep base without a subwoofer. Sweet luscious midrange. Mid range can be mass loaded with sand. I had the original bases of speaker redone from veneered MDF to solid oak . Rear ambiance driver and 3 front drivers. 10" woofers were upgraded with more modern Von Schweikert ones.
