Seriously, if it was me I'd look into a home improvement loan, keep the VTLs and the deHavilland to use in the cooler/cold months and pick up some sort of preamp that would work well with your Magtech.
I've decided to put an end to my constant wheeling and dealing so that's the route I would go - either that or tough it out with some other sort of heating source until I could swing the furnace and keep what I like.
I would recommend a stout Eskimo woman for the alternate heat source!
