I received an e-mail from James Tanner this morning indicating the Bryston website now has the 2B SST & B100 SST included.

I looked at it and see it says something about C-Series Technology. Maybe James could tell us how that is different from the technology in my 3BSST. What is the 3BSST? B-Series?

"C" stands for "Consumer". There remains a 2B-PRO and I believe this is how Bryston is differentiating them.

HI All,
Yes the C Series is for Consumer. The 2B LP will still be in the Pro lineup because they are still very popular at the pro level.

So what differentiates the "consumer" from "professional" models? Are the differences limited purely to the packaging and user interface, or are there sonic differences as well?
Thanks!

Yes the consumer is packaging only. The pro is only available in Black finish with 19 inch rack mount faceplates.

James - you've probably heard this a hundred times if you've heard it once - Is the 14BST exactly the same as the 14BSST?
I believe the earlier model was the 14BST but have there been any changes at all since the introduction?
Thanks James,
Bill

HI Bill,
The 14B ST was the first of the SST Series and other than cosmetics and a small power supply change the 14B ST is the same as the 14B SST.
