Trying to find Tuner Alignment options

I've read several threads recommending various people for service, but little contact info.
Can anyone provide contact info for Bill Ammons, or recommend someone else?

The Analog Store - NC    http://theanalogstore.com
Stereo Surgeons - CT     http://stereosurgeons.com

I have had tuners worked on by both of these guys, they do good work. Be patient for turnaround time, since they are essentially one-man shops.

edit:    Lots of repair and modders listed with contacts on this page:  http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/

Thanks.  I've emailed some of the techs from the fmtunerinfo.com site.  The ph. numbers they provide are not always current.  I also noticed that stereosurgeons is on their black list.  Also, somewhere I had Doug S the Tuna's email but can't seem to find it- unfortunately he's persona non grata around here.

The recommendations I made (Harrisburg Radio Labs, AVNerdguy) didn't work out for you?

I just lost track of it. Thanks for giving me the heads up again. Their website is dead, but I'll phone them tomorrow.  Still trying to find a number for Bill Ammons.

Disregard my previous - that was a different Bill.  Here is where I contacted Bill Ammons, about 2 years ago:

About 2.5 years ago, I had Joseph Chow align my Sansui TU-X1.  He is well respected and did a fine job. audiohorizons@yahoo.com

I just found that they closed up last August after 70 years in business.  I've emails in for Ammons in Phoenix and Zucarro in San Diego.  Hopefully I'll hear back soon.

Bill modded my KT8300 a few years ago.  Excellent work.  Which unit do you need to align?

A Sherwood 3000IV.  I understand that there are several mods available, but it depends on cost as to whether they would be worthwhile.

That is terrible news about Harrisburg Radio Labs, they were great to deal with.
Drop Dean a line
dean.rosenthal@q.com

he should be able to get it sorted for you.  That's a nice tuner, I like mine a lot.
