They are beautiful. They sound amazing. And I know they still have break in to do. They are much more efficient than the HT2s, so now I have a little static in the right speaker (from the tweeter) when there is no signal. Seems almost like radio signal interference. When I swap the left channel for the right on the speaker cable, the static moves from the right speaker to the left. If I move the preamp out left to right or the amp in left to right, the static doesn't move. Seems like it is in the amp or, possibly, a bad tube (though I never experienced that issue with a bad tube). Hopefully I can sort that out in the next few days. Will cause my rack layout to change in advance of my plans for my 1625 amps, but that is ok. These speakers are so open even compared to the HT2s or the HT3s I have heard (no offense Jim). I think I may want to push the SPL up on the bass a little, but need to run measurements before I do that. They sound awesome though. And yes, they look even better in person than in the pictures Jim posted. The only negative now is dialing in. I have to do it and fix that static. Currently, my wife's seat is the sweet spot!
