Forgotten Introductions

All, stupidly I didn't realize that I ought to introduce myself, so I will try and right that wrong.  I have been reading AC for many months now and have taken in a great deal of good advice from a number of members.  If you look at my photo, you will see a very old, very good, but sadly aging set of Dahlquist DQ10's, with the matching sub woofer; in their prime, the were driven by a lovely Threshold 400A amp (Nelson Pass' previous company).  The combined sound was glorious but like all things, they aged and are needing to be replaced.
I am currently waiting for a set of Vapor Sound Joules to be delivered to my door, if all things go well, they will arrive next Friday.  I will start them off by listening to them through a Parasound amp (Marsh Pre amp and Benchmark 2 Dac),  I also have a Marsh Amp, and Jeff Wells, of Wells Audio, has promised to let me listen to his Inamorata amp as well.
I currently listen to mostly computer based audio, although if you look at my picture, you will see a wall of albums.  the most recent Beatles Mono LP set has sent me back to Vinyl and I have been captivated.  I might start a separate Beatles Mono LP thread, since having collected them all my life, and having close to 100 Beatles albums, these are without a doubt the finest I have heard them sound--these are my current references, better than the MoFI box set, better than my 50 year old originals or the various CD's--stereo or mono.
thanks for all the input that you all have put into AC, it is really a wonderful site and one that I check several times daily.

wish I had a cool moniker!
