WTB: Mono Amp for Center Channel Speaker
« on: 25 Sep 2014, 02:47 pm »
I'm looking for a used single mono amplifier to power my Salk C7 center channel speaker.  I was using a Wyred 4 Sound multi-channel amp, but upgraded my main amps (a pair of Tube Research Labs Samsons for my Salk Soundscape 10's) so looking for a quality mono amp with at least 250 watts of power and a 12v trigger.  Suggestions welcome.

Thanks!
Pete

I have a Outlaw Audio Model 2200 Monoblock Power Amplifier.  Its 200 watts a channel and in very good shape.  I have the original box and I might have the manual.  I bought this new with another one about 6 years ago.   I've used them when I had my Salk soundscapes 7's floorstanding before I bought a parasound A 21.  The outlaw monoblocks drove the speakers with no problem.   Would want 175 plus shipping. Zip is 70037

Thanks Michael - the Outlaw is worth considering although I received a couple of personal emails with other interesting options.  I'll keep you posted.

Anybody else?  I rarely see an ad for a single mono amp but was hoping someone might have a good one not being used.
