SECRET NEW CROSSOVER

I was just in AVS's office and saw this schematic, sent to him by another engineer that Albert knows at JPL.  It must be some kind of secret humor.





What do you guys think?

I would investigate what the "Magic Smoke" is. If the crossover is going to be built in CA, I might have an idea :)

I built a similar circuit many years ago...
This is an updated/improved version... mine used a lead sinker instead of the bobber.
It appears to be RoHS compliant now  :D

Reminds me of the first amplifier I designed and built while working at RCA as an intern.  It turned out to be a world class oscillator.  That may be the reason I ended up majoring in power circuits   :duh: :lol:
