repairs and upgrades
« on: 16 Aug 2014, 11:55 pm »
I would like to thank all of the GAS members for letting me repair  and/or upgrade their equipment. It is a total pleasure to work with all of you. i can't ask for any better guys to deal with. This is  better than working with other repair places that I have worked with in the past. You guys are the best! I strive to do the quality work that you want and do it at a reasonable price. Thanks guys!!!   :D

No, Mike, YOU are the best!  Fantastic service, great explanations of what you fixed and why, and super integrity!   :thumb:

Mike, I've tried to "pimp you out" as much as possible. I've done that solely based on the words and recommendations of the GAS group, as you and I have never had an "official" transaction.
GAS is a great group of fellows that are passionate about their hobby, and extremely happy with  your work, which is why I'm proud to recommend your services.
Thank you for the high quality of service you provide.   :thumb:

p.s. On a side note, I've got a buddy with some Maggies that have a case of delamination.
He's worked with "Zaw"[sp?] in the past, but I'm wanting him to become a "GAS guy", and therefore check you out for repair work.
Is this something you're capable of?
Post here, PM, or email at 'bobinstlouis<at>att<dot>net'

Thanks Mike!

Good plan, BISL!

Mike is about to wrap up a rebuild on a good-looking Tandberg 9100x RTR for me.  I have some family tapes somewhere that I need to copy, and that dinosaur (the Tandberg, not Mike) will look cool in my vintage collection.

Highly recommended. He just completed a rebuild of a Dual-1019 for me. Yes, that Dual. :)
