My favorite magical movies by Robin Williams are: "The World According to Garp", "Jack", "Awakenings", and "What Dreams May Come".  "Jumangi" gets an honorable mention.  I'm sure there are some I've forgotten to mention, but these come to mind as movies that transport you to a magical place.  A remarkable body of work if he had done nothing else.

The interwebz says it got canceled, back in early May...

I had the Mork from Ork action figure when I was a kid. 



The last few times I caught him on a late night talk show, I thought he seemed extra crazy, out of control and not quite right. Even for him... Other 'crazy' comics/comedians evolved to some level of maturity and have been able to incorporate their past crazy routines  and character in when they wanted. He seemed to be lost within his in the end.

Awesome movie. His best as far as I'm concerned.

Doesn't hurt that it is one of my fav movies, but he really knocked it out of the park as a college professor from Southie.

Love the scene in the movie when he is catching up with his old university buddy and they trade "do you know who X" is stories.  The Unabomba (proper Boston accent required)!

At least we won't have to worry about them coming out with a "Patch Adams 2"! 

It's sad to see another celebrity selfishly take his own life.  The impact on the family is devastating and I can't imagine a more selfish act.
