For sale: a Krell S-1500 5 channel power amplifier finished in silver.
I will be truly sad to see this beautiful amplifier go. This Krell makes my Martin Logan speakers sing. However, I need to make room for my two-channel tube setup. I am very meticulous, and with a flashlight, I did find a minuscule pin-point mark on the back left side. Otherwise, this Krell's front and all other sides are in absolute mint condition every other way..

Additional amplifier modules are available from Krell for $550 each and can be easily installed at home.
Here are a few specifications:
Power output is 150 Watts into 8 ohms, 300 Watts into 4 ohms, and is stable into any load.
Class-A circuitry is utilized in the input, pre-driver, and driver stages to provide the most accurate signal path.
The power is supplied by a massive 1.5KV toroidal power transformer, and an 80,000-microfarad array of quick charging filter capacitors. Inputs include balanced and single ended connections for each channel.
The output speaker terminals are heavy 5 way binding posts that will accept large spades, bare wire, or banana plugs. There are 2 extra sets of unused inputs and outputs for future upgrading to 6 or 7 channels with extra amplifier modules available from Krell.
