For local pick-up only in Southern California (Los Angeles/Ventura County/Orange County)

A highly praised and sleek-looking Harman Kardon HK 3485 receiver. I purchased it around 2009 and it's still running strong and fully functional.

It's in solid condition, only has a few hairline scratches on the front (all minor) and the blue light on the circular volume knob doesn't light up (a plus in my book since it used to be obtrusively bright.) Both of these cases are purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the functionality of the receiver, it operates perfectly fine. I really take care of my gear and this receiver has essentially stayed in one location since I purchased it. It comes with the remote and all the documentation. I may still have the original box in the garage but i'll have to double-check.

I just took these pictures of the receiver running right before this post was published. I've had it powering a number of bookshelf speakers and it sounds wonderful. Warm, lush, and dynamic sound and it puts out a hefty 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms so it can drive nearly any speaker out there. I never pushed it hard and have always listened to music at a moderate volume. It's a really versatile receiver with multiple inputs and even has a phono input to connect a turntable, as well as pre-out jacks if you wanted to connect a pre-amplifier. It also has a dedicated sub-out jack if you wanted to use a subwoofer. The only reason I am selling it is because i'm looking to upgrade to more expensive separate components (pre-amplifier and power amplifier.)

I frequently travel between Ventura County, Los Angeles, and Orange County so i'm willing to sell it in any of those areas. $140 Cash only.
