WTB: McCormack Micro Phono Drive
« on: 13 Jul 2014, 03:45 pm »
I'm looking for a McCormack Micro Phono Drive, the old style with the rounded sides, not the new square one.
Would prefer one in good to excellent condition, with the original box, modded or unmodded.
Would also prefer it to be working but will consider one that's not working as long as it can be restored to working status, this will be going to SMc Audio for upgrades.
Will also be shipping directly to SMc if purchased.
Thanks for looking and your assistance if you have one or know of one that needs a loving home.

Wirenut, you are correct these are not easy to come by, thus the reason for the ad.
Sorry its taken me so long to reply, I'm in the process of moving, rather busy house hunting currently.
Fortunately I haven't let the pair of 0.5's I have get away, I just had them upgraded to at SMc to Ultra Platinum Monoblocks.   :thumb: :D :thumb: :D :thumb:

I think it would only be right to let C17FXR have the first crack at it!

WireNut, if you're interested in a MPD maybe we can work something out   :o.
I just talked with Steve and we came up with an idea.
If you want the MPD I'll work with on this.
Are you up for a PM to talk about my idea?
If so send me a PM and we'll talk.

Thanks for having a guy's back  :thumb:
Not that I think Wirenut would be that vicious.
I think his post was meant more as a joke.
It's rather hard to write voice inflections.

Anyway WireNut let me know.   :D
