Look...you might find something, to wow your unknowing friends more; but for true musicality...nothing touches it at twice the price.
No need to say more; well documented raves...and if I keep praising them, I might change my mind.
I'm the 1st owner; still like new, 9/10 condition. Buyer pays s&h, and any payment fees; but I tend to buy and sell, in negotiated "all-in" figures. Perfect and long-standing feedback, as hiendpawn@Audiogon; buy with confidence.
Couple of pics; here, driven by a 10wpc 6L6 tube IA. I hooked these up to an ARC 300/500 digital amp, Hegel H-80 IA, and this low-watt sweet tube number; all sounded good. In fact, right now it's being driven by the Denon CEOL in my Bedroom; and it doesn't sound bad at all...lol. Rumor is, they need some big-powered drive...to sound their best; but I've found them to be pretty flexible.
