Selling a like new Mytek Stereo 192-DSD DAC. The unit functions and appears as new, complete with all the original boxes and packaging. This is the highly desirable black preamp verison, which includes analog inputs - perfect if you're using an additional analog source or need a home theater pass through.
The DAC more than lives up to it's reputation - check the reviews - it's phenomenal. I've owned several very highly regarded DACs over the last three years or so from the likes of Levinson, Wyred, Weiss, etc, and the Mytek has been my favorite. It's more fully featured (DSD, truly transparent volume control in either digital or analog domains, selectable filtering and upsampling, headphone amp, remote controllable, etc) and flexible (firewire in addition to the standard digital inputs as well as an analog input) than any other DAC I've owned and it sounds as good or better than the best I've heard. It's perhaps the most highly detailed and transparent DAC I've ever owned, which is no surprise given it was designed for professional use. The stock fuse (included) was swapped out for an audiophile fuse from AMR, which added some weight and dimension to the midrange to compliment the DACs fast and detailed presentation.
