This is a great 2A3 SET amp that responds well to upgrades in tubes (JJ 2A3-40 and NOS driver tubes) and to caps (Mundorf SIO, etc).  If you've not heard the magic of SET amps, this is the one to start with!

You're right...the  performance of BH amps is far ahead of their price and a great base for mods. This guy sounds alot more powerful than 3.5W for sure.
