Looking for a new amp to drive my Magnepan 3.7's, I know Magnepan uses Bryston at the shows so they must have their reasons!
I have used Parasound JC-1's which sounded great but heated up my room.
I want something that will drive them well but run pretty cool, not be a monster to lift and won't break the bank.

What's your budget and are you looking for 2 x Mono or 1 x Stereo power amp?

If stereo, bang-for-the-buck, I would recommend the Bryston 4B-SST² power amp!

Not that I don't want you to switch to Bryston, but I believe the JC1's have low and high bias level adjustment swtiches at their back.

Well, if you knew that and prefer to change, the 7B-SST/2 are also good match with Maggies.

The 7B's are a dream match with the MG3.7's.  I just got a pair of the new MG3.7i model and so far it sounds terrific with my 7B's.
