After just three years my Denon AV3300 died and they wanted
 almost a $1000. to replace the DSP board if they could get one.
Seems this was a comon fault with the AV 3300.
    So I have been looking for something to replace the Denon,but didn't want to spend that kind of money again.I'm very interested in the Panny
XR25 which I can still get or the newer XR50.I would of bought the XR45
if they were still avalible.So what do you think is better the XR25 or the XR50.I know the XR70 is coming out sometime this fall,but do I want to wait?Any thought would be helpful.Good thing I kept my old Dynaco stuff,
after 30 years it is still going strong.

Get the XR25 now as it you can pick them up for about $100 now.

If you think it's a nice sound, then definitely go for the XR70 (as long as it is the equal to the XR45...that is yet to be determined).

I owned the XR25 and purchased the XR45 later off of Audiogon since it was no longer available new.  In my mind the XR25 was  great little amp but the 45 was just much better.  I sold the 25 and kept the 45 and have never looked back.
