$1200 $1150/oboI'll keep this short and sweet: this is a terrific-sounding unit! I've tried some quality tube pre-amps. Some...like Conrad-Johnson...were really nice-sounding, and non-fatiguing; but
too laid-back, for
my tastes. Others...not enough tube weight (too linear).
This unit, walks a perfect line...IMO. Great shape...second owner; box, remote...and 2 sets of (3) ax7s (basic EHs, and some nice JANs that I actually preferred, to some NOS Mullard 4004s that came with the unit).

Also...I do still have the "matching" 300.2 power-amp, that you see in these pics. I might be keeping that...and thus, haven't "officially" listed it yet; but if you're interested in the set, let me know and we might be able to work something out. They're a great pair...at a really modest price; because they're a gen or two old. But...IMO; they don't l@@k outdated, and they'll stand toe-to-toe, with any current gear in their price-range.
You see them driving PMC; you see them driving KEF...you see them driving Harbeth. Sounded great, with all 3 of these very different-sounding speakers!
