SOLD: Magnum-dynalab MD-208 FM receiver-

I've decided to sell my beloved Magnum-dynalab MD-208 FM receiver. The MD-208 is a simple, classic FM or line input stereo only receiver made of very high quality components, built to a high standard. This unit is the only one I've ever seen with a silver faceplate.
The tuner is an upgraded version of MD's $1500 Etude FM tuner, which is considered a classic. The FM sound quality is the best I've owned, and that includes a couple dozen good to very good tuners. Very transparent, balanced, open and quiet, with very good sensitivity. The pre and amplifier are little monsters, made by Simaudio (a higher power version of the $2500 SIM i-5 integrated amp), clean, dynamic, and with great woofer control. It has very high current available, and uses high quality metal contact switches. Power output is rated at 100Wpc into 8 ohms, 160Wpc into 4 ohms, and almost 300 WPC into 2 ohms. 6 pairs of line inputs, plus pre-outs or subwoofer outs, plus a pass through for a processor.
Full function machined aluminum remote with metal contact switches for power, input, mute, volume, and channel balance (tuning is manual).

I've owned it about 8 years. I mostly have used it in my office system, getting less than an hour a day on average of easy use.
It has 2 "enhancements" - an upgraded fuse (Synergistic, I think) and the cheap factory feet have been replaced with rubber and cork "Isolpads".  Cosmetically and operationally it is in very good condition. Flaws: there are some very small marks on one side at the top, and the signal strength meter seems to not be accurate. (I have a replacement meter on order). The center tune meter is fine.
This cost $3000 new and is one of the best stereo receivers ever made, and stands comparison with quality separates at much higher prices.
A couple of reviews:

John Marks wrote "The MD 208 quietly exudes class and is a delight to listen to. I would unhesitatingly recommend it to any music lover as the foundation of a high-quality music system that is long on performance and convenience and short on needless expense and complication". That's exactly what I found, which is why I've owned it longer than any component I've ever had.

Thanks for having a look.
