Hello all,

I know of the 2 readily available LPS (Auraliti or Nuforce) I can use w/ my player, but "my" budget is a bit tight right now. I have my whole
listening system running from an Equitech 1.5Q BPT, but I dont particularly care for the fact that my PK100 is using a "switching" PS between it & the BPT.

A basic 12v AC "non" switching PS is what I'm looking for. Anyone know of something that fits these requirements ?

I use the KECES dual output power supply for my Alix player (12v) and USB needs (5v).

http://www.keces.com.tw/5_english/index_5_english.htm

It has worked very well for about 3 years and is nicely constructed. I'm not sure of current pricing but I recall mine was quite reasonable for the quality of the unit.

I assume you need a 12V DC (output) supply .....

The KECES DC-116 is (was) $499 - and looks quite nice.

I'm not sure what the "Budget" range is, but since the $500 KECES was mentioned, I'll go ahead and mention the $285 HD-Plex Linear Power Supply

Yes, I meant 12vdc power supply (I guess that small inline 12vdc inverter that has a Audioquest power cord I attached to it, had me thinking "ac")

The Keces is about 1 or 2 hundred $$ more than the supplies I mentioned. The Sonore "HD-Plex"looks very nice & is a move in the cost direction I'm looking for,so I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks to all, for your suggestions.

Yeah, my KECES was about $250 or so at the time. Apparently it's moved up a bit  :(
