Unfortunately it is time to part with my beloved SongTower RT's (LCY ribbon) and SongCenter RT (LCY ribbon).  The package is veneered in the gorgeous Pau Ferro Rosewood, and the mains are topped off in a hand rubbed high gloss (a $1800 finish).  I tried to capture the brilliance of the high gloss in the photos, but it's difficult to do so.  Needless to say they look better in person, but pictures are attached.  The center channel does not have the hand rubbed high gloss finish, FYI.  All three speakers are in great shape in both appearance and performance, and the mains have the special anodized machined aluminum front baffles.   







I am not selling these because I want to, but more because I should.  My children are getting bigger each and ever day, and their play area has expanded into my HT/listening space.  I no longer have a worthy place to put my speaker setup, plus I could use the money to put a dent in my wife's surgery bills.  I did not keep the shipping containers, so local pickup would be preferred.  I am willing to ship them, though it will be about $75-$80 to have them professionally packaged on top of the shipping costs.  I am asking $2800 for the fronts and center channel (buyer pays paypal fees if applicable).  Please PM me if interested.  I will also be selling dual Behringer EP2500's and TC Sounds TC2000 drivers as well, in case anyone is interested.  Thank you.

Probably the most famous Salk's.  They are (rather you really) probably are responsible for 1/2 of the Salk sales out there because of your PR.  Good luck with the sale.  I have a 2 year old and another to be born next month.  Hope that I never have to part with my HT-2Ls, but when it comes down to it, the kids mean it all.

That's too bad. I enjoyed reading all your posts on your journey. I really enjoyed reading about the GTG you had several years ago where your wife posted a summary of her listening experience. Haven't kept up with you lately but I hope your wife will be OK.

Man, I hate to hear that you are having to give them up. As was previously said, your very descriptive speaker journey has definitely helped put Salk on people's radar.

I'm going on a year with mine, and my kids are grown enough that I'm in the process of taking their playroom over (originally a formal living and dining space) to convert it into a media/entertaining room.

  Surprised to hear you are selling your Salks, Brandon.  I hope that your wife's surgery was successful and she has had a full and complete recovery by this time...  I know that it can take a while for those bills to catch up...  best of luck on a quick and fair sale

I reduced the price slightly, but would really like to get $3000 for the set.  The fronts alone cost over $4000 new with the veneer and finish, and the center is over $1300.  Feel free to come on over and demo them, of course.  I hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend.
