Hey folks, I am selling a pair of Omega 7A drivers (Alnico version - top of the Omega line). These are now unobtainium to the DIY community - you can only get them in a finished Omega speaker from Louis. Now is your chance! These have been mounted in 2 test boxes that I have - one is a TQWP box and the other my Curvy Chang BVR box. I slightly preferred the TQWP box however the plywood I used when I built them (marine) had numerous voids that would get excited and rattle. The driver worked well in both boxes. I think they might work best in either a 30 liter or 60 liter BR box, similar to the ones that Louis builds. I can provide a 30 liter box plan from Louis, the data sheets and TS parameters for the drivers, and the frequency/impedance response curves that used to be on the Omega site. All in all, I have maybe 25 hrs at most on these drivers so they really haven't even broken in yet.
