Could this be a new GIK product?  Horn pussums?  With his weight, I can assure you that there are no stray vibrations in that wood horn.

Awesome, but don't you need matching sets?

I've got another one but she only weighs 6 pounds so not much damping. Guy, I don't think he has a favorite type of music, but they both hide when the front room gets loud.

would there be a different resonant frequency if you used a ginger tom ? Would a calico be more diffusive?

You definitely need a pair of Maine Coons for maximum damping. Males typically weigh up to 25 pounds.

That pup hasn't missed a meal in a year, definitely needs to be in the tuba section.

We have a lazy 4 pound jazz cat at home, that stays off my speakers!

My sister in law has Maine Coons and they are way too big to be stereo friendly. And no,  Chet doesn't ever miss a meal, starting the day off by asking for food around 5:20 am every single morning.  I need to work on his timer since I'm officially retired starting Friday.  I gotta say, both cats really like these speakers because they are exactly the right height to jump on and perch.   I don't think it's sound quality since the horns can be shouty at times.

I will play some "El Gato" by Maynard or some Cat Anderson or maybe some Stray Cat Strut.  If I'm feeling particularly festive, "Cat Scratch Fever" but I don't want to give a 16 pound puss any ideas.

I'm surprised nobody commented about "The paws that refreshes." particularly when playing "Year of the Cat".
