After an almost 6 month wait, I finally received it this past week and can't seem to put it down.

I love the fact that you can tweak it according to the source file and/or headphones (I'm using it with an iPhone 5S and V-Moda M100 or Sennheiser Momentum headphones, both low impedance closed back 'portable' cans). This is the XL4 model and comes with 1/8", 1/4". and 4-pin XLR balanced headphone outs. The 1/8" output is also an optical combo output. On the input side it has both USB A and B for iDevices or computers.  It seems to have great battery life, around 6 hours or so, and is built to withstand the rigors of my travels. The charger is pretty beefy and takes about the same amount of time to fully charge.

And it sounds really, really good. I've only got ALAC files on the iPhone, so can't comment on higher res recordings yet. Compared to the analog out of the phone, it improves upon the sound in every single regard (but maybe that was to be expected).

I'm a happy camper.
