13 years ago I hired a harpist to play at our wedding (prelude, postlude, and reception), $300. She drove 3 miles from the nearby college, but was flakily to set the arrangements (contact's fault, not her's). She was small, but hoisted that thing in and out of the big old station wagon like you wouldn't believe. Of course I had almost no idea what pieces to request, but it worked out perfectly (in her mind it ended up with me paying her to drive over to practice at our church). I really liked the atmosphere it set for the wedding and simple church reception (where people could communicate without texting or shouting).
