We are considering implementing a new policy and wanted to obtain some feedback before we do.

Here is a preview...

Well, maybe not... :icon_lol:

And Rorschach ink blots.

Jim, don't any women with significant others order speakers?

I would think the permission slip would be needed at the time of placing the ORDER, not when picking a finish :-)  My natural curly cherry shouldn't offend anyone...and they're going to be in the basement.

I would say that any wise married man could tell you this.  It is why your bedroom is um... not like your college door room!

I would love to hear the story behind this one.

I live in the half glass full world for this subject.  Most, if not all my wife's friends are surprised we have speakers at all. I hear "You know, they make these great little speakers, I think it is called Sonos".... followed by a death like glance from my wife that says "don't even say it"...

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Yes, they do.  But we never question their choices.

My wife wanted a plain boring white oak, she got what she wanted I got the speakers. Although she did give me a strange look when seeing the Salk Rytmik subwoofer but the sound with the SCST made her a believer.

Well, the smartest thing Jim did when I was ordering my speakers and couldn't decide on the veneer was to drag my wife Pat in to help decide.  She liked the red gum I was leaning towards and that helped me decide as well as having her somewhat invested in the process.  She loves them to this day!

Why am I not surprised by that stat?

As to the original topic, I'm against it because it's the only reason there is a used market!  :icon_lol:
