For sale: the magical little rm10 mk2 35w tube amp from Music Reference. Takes a quad of el 84 tubes and two 12ax7 driver tubes. I've never read a bad word about this amp. I just bought power hungry speakers so this needs to be passed along.

I am the second owner, but really the first since the original owner had it all of two months (he had a baby boy and priorities changed). It's in excellent condition, both sonically and in terms of its cabinet (not a scratch on it that I can see). Only around 3 years old.
Comes with two full sets of tubes:
1. the original RAM driver tubes: used for less than a year
2. a matched quad of Genalex gold lion el 84 reissues bought from Jim McShane. Used less than a year.
3. Psvane 12ax7 matched by trelja (Joe) on audiogon: used 2 years
4. a matched quad of Psvane el84's-tii (grade A, matched by Grant Fidelity): only 2 months old.
I have the original RAM output tubes, but the last time I put them in to compare with another quad a fuse blew. I don't know what happened but I never put them back in to test. I can send those along if you want and have the equipment to test. I hardly used them at all, so I imagine they're fine--but no guarantee on those.
