LOL yeah, I'm still interested in trying one. I'm hoping where i place it on my rack i'll only see it head on and the contemporary styling won't annoy me too much.

I prefer all black equipment but the Vega is silver.  Know what?  I don't care as the performance is stellar.  In the end it's the least of my concerns.  The ARIES is going to be an amazing piece too.

I just built a CAPS V3 with the SOtM USB card that goes direct to a Benchmark DAC2.  I am not ready to ditch it yet.

Thanks.  If possible, please post your thoughts on the ARIES compared to the C.A.P.S. v3 when you can. I also have two systems and am on the fence between the ARIES and the C.A.P.S v3.

Can you connect the ARIES (or C.A.P.S.) to two separate systems to be used at different times?

I agree, the Auralic room sounded real good at T.H.E. Show. I was in there yesterday afternoon and spent some time listening and talking to the North American rep.. They were running the a NAS wireless to Aeries>USB to Vega DAC>Taurus Pre>Merak monoblocks>new Spendor speakers.

I was impressed before I found out the Aeries was streaming the library wireless. Hi res. and DSD were rocking along! The actual Aries unit was pretty small and very light in hand. They didn't have a production version of the external power supply, so I could only guess as it's size.

After my experience, I'm looking forward to getting one in house.

Have you swiped from the left part (edge) of the screen to the right to click on the ARIES?

I did a reset on the Aries and now I have a device called 3X8A1KC1 but when I go into the device info it don't show anything under FW  or Device info no serial # nothing

My Ipad has 7.1.2 should I leave it or update to 8.02 ?

Is it connected to the network which is connected to the internet?  You will need to press that device name.

I understand what your trying to tell me but the Aries is not found , should I update the mini to 8.0.2 or leave it at 7.1.2 .
