Item is fully functional and in mint condition. The pictures were taken in low light condition - the real item looks better than the pictures.
As of now, I use Linn Majik DS to stream music from my network storage device and feed digital signal to Teddy Pardo Dac through Coax input. This one has the upgrade 192khz async USB module inside ( you should be able to tell by connecting the DAC to your PC- you will see XMOS chip), although I have never used the USB module and won't be able to comment on the USB performance.
Yes, this is correct-this DAC sounds better than Linn Majik DS to my ears.
