Anyone have any experience with this player? It's a CD recorder, HD jukebox combo. How is the sound quality?

Just purchased this player, hoping to use it as a standalone harddrive based jukebox.

Thanks for the reply! I was starting to think that no one has this unit! :D

I am going to be mainly using it as a CD player, not as a CD recorder.

How is the sound quality of this unit? Do I need an external DAC with it? I rather not, since I prefer one box solutions over 2 box solutions.

I read that the built in DAC is 24bit, so I figure it might be pretty good.

Just took delivery of the CDR-HD1300 today.

Amazing unit. Already copied 5 CDs onto the harddrive. Started playing the music off the harddrive.

Super quiet harddrive, can't hear the harddrive spinning unless I pin my ears to the unit. The music is crisp, detailed, neutral, transparent.
