Offered at less than 25% of original price + dedicated netbook for software This is the single biggest positive difference I made in over 25+ years in this hobby. I bought another Tact unit to replace this one. Condition is very good other than some scratches on the lid from component stacking. Everything included-software, cables,microphone,remote etc. I think my asking price more than fairly recognizes that this unit is the 24/96 vs. 24/192 model and the fact Tact, like so many high end companies, is not currently active. It remains a very advanced processor using premium AKM adc and dacs, quality made in USA construction , stable highly configurable software, .40 bit DSP processing and full analog and digital inputs in all common formats- coax, toslink, xlr, rca . It is also a fully balanced preamp with .01 db balance and level control and up to 6 db gain. As well, it has a 10 band digital parametric equalizer. Most other units simply do not offer the same range of functionality or features. You can add your own dac or usb/coax converter if desired and still have a fully functional great preamp- excellent with streaming devices . It is very difficult to fully describe how it works in an ad- please see the numerous reviews online or request the manual/ other literature by email. Suffice to say it addresses the critical relationship between the room and your speakers in a way no other tweak or mod can do and builds on 15 years of research into room acoustics.. The effects, as pretty well universally noted , are not subtle. Yes there is a learning curve but with the included netbook everything is set up to go and I am quite prepared to help via email or Skype. Take advantage of the spring doldrums price. If not sold soon, it will be de-listed and put up for auction. Condition is 7.5/10 solely due to scratches on the lid from component stacking- easily repainted if desired.
