Facebook buys Occulus Virtual Reality (the Rift) - would be an interesting experience in several areas - Personal gaming, personal Home Theater, etc. Facebook will use it for ads. Many VR and Gaming enthusiasts who funded the Kickstarter are very unhappy.

MS Office available now on the IPad - not sure I will ever pay a subscription for software or use office on a tablet. Its free if you just view documents, which makes sense.

There have been more than 250 billion photos uploaded to Facebook.

Amazon's Video Box is coming to join Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, WD, etc. in the TV device arena. Meanwhile Netflix had to pay Verizon to not slow it down and meanwhile Apple is talking about getting last-mile priority service on Comcast’s network to consumers’ homes for a video service.
