My br-2 came with the bda-1.

I could be mistaken but only our SP and BCD products have included remotes.  I believe the BDA do not ship with a remote at there retail price, a br2 would be a $350 extra option.

Cheers

I have the BCD1, and it was supplied with the BR2 remote. I don't know the intent of the initial post, but this remote is close to useless from an ergonomic standpoint. No one should pine for this thing. The buttons are all the same size, the light function is fickle at best, and I'd keep it's corners away from any nice wood furniture. I bought a Sony learning remote for 20 bucks, and transferred the functions to it.
The BR2 would be great if you needed to hit an intruder in the head. It is a solid hunk of metal.

Well that's gotta be worth something, no? It was quite a thing, that BR2 of mine...

I love the build of the BR2 remote. It gives the feel of a pro piece of gear and matches well with the general motif of  Bryston equipment in general :thumb:

My BCD-1 came with a remote specifically for the unit it was called the BCD-1 remote and could control the preamps as well.  Was the BR-2 ever supplied with the BCD-1?

My BCD-1 came with a BR-2 and I suspect I'm not the only one.

http://www.bryston.com/products/other/BR2.html

It was a hefty lil' fella but from an ergonomic/tactile/functionality POV it could have used a little refinement.
