QUICKSILVER kt88 mono blocks,  asking $900.00 plus shipping, lower 48 only.

These were recently purchased from Mike Sanders at Quicksilver Audio, his words, "I personally checked these amps out and they are in great shape." He is also providing a year warranty,  which will be included.  Along with his new tubes,  tested and checked by Mike. They were traded in for another set of amplifiers.

I have been using these as a back up pair, while my other was being repaired. I would rate them at a 6 out of 10, they sound very musical and very solid. And backed up by Quicksilver.

(When I had talked to Mike on the phone he "claimed" these were in very good condition, he even said they were great. But in reality,  they are more like a 6 out of 10. Mike might be on hard times finaincaly.  And he exaggerated there condition to get them out the door. I can't claim the same condition as Mike. So the price reflects that. )

They provide 60 watts each. Into 4 or 8 ohm speakers. These amps work best on a rubber mat or carpet or some sort of soft mat. To reduce vibration created by the tubes/transformers.  Sonics are much better when they sit on something soft, like a piece of cork or soft mat.

Thank you for looking

I would take $700.00 for the set. Backed by a one Quicksilver warranty.
Double boxed for shipping.

Very good set for someone interested in getting started in tube amplification.

Thanks

No cages. Imho, the cages are weird and not attractive on this model.

It does have new tubes.

Thanks

I sold these mono blocks, as described. To a good man, thru A'gon. I didn't hide anything,  sold them to him at a very reasonable price. Explained to him, in detail there condition.  Nothing hidden. I lost a lot of money in the transaction.

(On the other hand, Mike Sanders at Quicksilver,  sold them to me, in his words, " very good condition". Which was a complete lie. Then told me that transformers don't wear out. Well, Mike, transformers wear out.  He aint exactly honest. I won't ever do business with him again, and you have been warned. )
