Guy,

"Garbage in, garbage out." No one who cares about sound quality would ever want a record made from an mp3. Mp3s sound like crap and a record cut from mp3s will sound like crap.

Hi vinyl_lady.
Yes, I know it's garbage...
I would never buy a machine to convert MP3 to vinyl analog.
I just wanted to show that link an get opinion,
even if I knew in advance what would be the comments.
I am sure the cutting machine must be expensive,
otherwise how can it be good.
A real machine,
I am sure cost several hundred thousands of $ $ $.
Thanks for your valued opinion, as always, it's highly appreciated.

Probably not for the vinyl circle types, but it is a very cool post, thanks Guy.

You never know where a fledgling technology will wind up. He did mention analog tape transfer. Whatever it is, it looks like fun!

But a softer, more rounded crap.

Hipster toy - might sell a few in Williamsburg where vinyl is not so much about sound.

Don't know if this is the exact same system - looks very similar and goes for about $4K.

And a quote about the manufacturer: "Not that Sourisseau gives much of a damn about that kind of thing; he told me he doesn't even care for vinyl. As an engineer, he's interested in the technology."

Hi Scotlynn.
For 4,000 USD you can buy lots of new vinyl.
