I see that Australian HiFi has a review of the DEQX PreMATE.
A very positive review it is too!!

I wonder if anyone has had experience in using a DEQX product with a planar?

Sounds like a DEQX, a wide range electrostatic and a separate sub could be a really good combination.
What do you think?

A few folks are using DEQX at the planar asylum. The electrostat with Sub is a good idea so long as you don't need high midrange output.
