So there is this speaker company hawking their horns to slap onto your standard drivers, claiming they transform your speakers "better than $10k upgrade"!

Once applied, I'm sure the sound of your speakers would be different, but improved?
What might these contraptions do to the sound?
(I suspect I might be able to guess your answers, but thought I'd ask anyway as I am far from being an engineer.)
