After purchase, my Bluray player died too, so I'm trying an Oppo 105 as source AND Dac. This thing is gorgeous. Very well crafted for under a $1,000. Pretty much the most DAC you can get for the money right now. Reviews of the sound are spot on with my impressions too. Nice all around quality and very smooth on the top end. Good if you prefer a more stereotypical "analog" sound. I hate to get rid, but cannot afford to have both.
I'd like $750 since it is basically brand new.
