I'm not really a *** snob ***, just kind of got out of TV and never got back.  I did really enjoy Spartacus, Rome (HBO show that I saw from disc), and I have to admit I liked Lost.  Every week I used to go over to my brother's house, crack a bottle of wine and watch the show.  He DVR'd Lost and Battlestar Galactica.  Humorously, both of them had about as terrible a series finale as you could imagine!

I have 2major plasmas and I only watch hockey! 

IMO, hockey is the sport that benefited most from the advent of HDTV and larger displays. Being able to better track the puck results in greater appreciation for the skill of these players and the overall speed of the game. I love how hockey looks in HD, particularly on plasmas.
