Evolution Acoustics MicroOne, with stands and bonus stuff (see below). I received the speakers in Sept 2013 direct from Evolution and am the original owner. They have had little use and are nowhere near the minimum 400 hours required for break-in. Now for all the disclosures and bonuses...
Until this morning, I would have told you these are pristine. I baby all my gear and usually it shows. When I went to photograph these this morning, I brought them over to a well it area, so you the buyer could see exactly what you're getting. As I was photographing them, I noticed the right speaker (which is on the left in the photos - go figure) had several areas where the piano black finish is not as well done or thick as it should have been. This is how they arrived to me from the factory and these areas are all under the clear coat finish, so there's not much that can be done about them. Chances are very high you won't notice these in your listening space, especially if you use the grills, but my reputation and feedback are very important to me, so I'd rather exaggerate the issues and have you be pleasantly surprised with what you're getting.
One more thing before the bonuses - the base of the stands is cast iron. Iron casting is an imperfect process and it shows. There are several imperfections on the stands that are just from the nature of the casting process - this is how the stands arrived from the factory.
Now for the good stuff. I realize you want your gear to be pristine even if it's used - so do I. Since these pieces aren't, I'm going to include two things in the asking price that cost me $500 and greatly improved my experience with the speakers. First, I'll include a set of 8 Herbie's Threaded Stud Gliders to use as feet for the stands. I found they protected my floors and provided a greater ability to angle the speakers properly (if you sit below the tweeter axis, you angle the speakers down toward your ear height). Second, I will include a set of SteinMusic Speaker Matches. I found these to make a nice improvement in clarity with the MicroOnes.
So there you have it - speakers, stands, Herbie's gliders and SteinMusic speaker matches all for $1800. This would cost you $4500 new, not to mention the inevitable wait for the speakers. I have all the original crates, etc. - these crates are heavy and will be expensive to ship. Buyer to pay shipping. Paypal and Postal Money Orders are payment methods accepted, and payment is due and clear before I'll ship. If you happen to be close to Nashville, you'll save a few bucks and get a chance to see it up close and personal.
Numerous reviews on the web and my A'gon handle is same as here, so you can be assured I'm a reliable and honest business partner. I expect you to be the same. Low ball offers will be politely ignored. Thanks!
