I am selling my Pass Labs X1 preamp. I have had it for a few months and I am the third owner. It is in perfect condition, comes with a remote and it is 2 chassis system with a separate power supply. It is the first version with the small black power supply box, other than that it is the same as the newer version which uses and identical Aluminum chassis for the power supply. It is an awesome sounding unit with great bass slam, detail, transparency and air. It is very quiet. The main chassis is Silver. The power supply comes with a long umbillical power cord and can be placed with the main chassis or on the floor. The Preamp cost $6000 new!
The reason I am selling it is that I had a tube preamp before the Pass and I realize that I miss the tube sound. I have since bought a BAT tube preamp on a deal that was too good to turn down, otherwise I would have kept the Pass. The guy I bought if from sold it because he wanted tubes and he bought an ARC LS26 preamp. No he is sorry that he sold the Pass as he found the LS 26 not his cup of tea!
