Harold Ramis has passed away

A very sad day...Harold Ramis
passed away yesterday.
I read that he died of an autoimmune disease. For those who don't know he wrote and/or directed some of the funniest films of the last 30 years, including
Stripes
,
Ghost Busters
and
Ground Hogs Day
. At just 69 years old it feels like he left us too soon, and there were still projects he was working on that I looked forward to. RIP, Mr. Ramis. Your work will live on for generations to come.

A real loss of comedic genius much too soon. Adding
Animal House
to that list of his many creations we can only guess at the future laughs lost with his passing. Deepest sympathies to his family and friends, may he rest in peace.

The whole list is really amazing! He had a hand (a big one) in a lot of classics. He was hilarious in front of the camera and a wizard behind it, and a gifted writer. It seems like we've lost too many talented folks lately.
