Six or seven years ago, I bought this Elpac WM220-1950 power supply and installed a new connector so I could use it with my Squeezebox SB3. To my ears, it didn't make any audible difference, even though it seemed to for many people at the time.
This PS is mechanically quiet. I can hear it hum from about a foot away, but not from any farther out.
If you've ever been curious about it, this is an inexpensive way to try.
The buyer will pay shipping. I don't know if this thing is going to sell, so I haven't found a good shipping box for it. It's pretty small, so I think shipping will be inexpensive. If I get any interest at all, I'll pack and weigh it so I can estimate shipping. Continental U.S. buyers only.
The buyer also agrees to test the voltage with a multimeter before connecting to an SB3. I've included a photo I took today showing 5V DC output, but I'd still like you to verify.
