Thanks for that - always loved NMB (part of my favorite line-up). When I saw him with Dweezil (first ZPZ tour, IIRC), he hadn't lost an ounce of charisma. He's a real performer! I learned a few things from this, which is always fun. Frank may have taken an incredibly disciplined approach to running a band, but the point was to get them so relaxed with the complex music that they could have fun with the performance. Does humor belong in music?
I wouldn't have thought it possible, but I exited this interview with a deeper appreciation for Napoleon Murphy Brock - an interesting guy, indeed.
